In celebration of Fire Prevention Month and the simultaneous nationwide earthquake drill, the Barangay Luz BDRRMO (Fire Brigade and BHERT) successfully conducted a Fire Drill, Earthquake Drill, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for the Junior and Senior High School students and teachers of Barrio Luz National High School.
The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness and awareness of students and school personnel in responding to emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, and medical situations. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided drills, participants learned the proper procedures for evacuation, safety response, and basic life-saving techniques.
This initiative highlights the importance of community preparedness, safety awareness, and coordinated emergency response, ensuring that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed during unexpected situations.
