Yesterday, August 18, 2026, our Committee Chairman on Environment, Hon. Josephine Son, attended the Coordination Meeting for the Post-Balik Bote Program Launching organized by the Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CCENRO).
The meeting discussed important updates on the program, including the identification of buyers for HDPE/LDPE and kitchen waste, accredited haulers, as well as the proposed drop-off eco-station and collection system.
Barangay Luz remains committed to promoting proper waste management, recycling, environmental protection, and sustainable community practices.
