“Today, the women of Barangay Luz came together for a productive meeting with Hon. Andrew Ponce to discuss the exciting plans for International Women’s Month 2025. With the theme ‘Babae sa Lahat ng Sector, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas’ (Women in All Sectors, Advancing a Better Tomorrow for a New Philippines), we are ready to celebrate the strength and achievements of women in our community. The following activities were outlined:
* Tree Planting at Barangay Kalunasan on March 9, 2025, led by the Bayanihan Women of Barangay Luz, to promote environmental awareness and solidarity.
*Clean Up Drive on March 22, 2025, organized by the Empowered Women of Luz (EWOL), to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone.
*Culminating Event for Women’s Month on March 29, 2025, with the crowning of the Queen Mother of Barangay Luz 2025, honoring the outstanding women who have made a positive impact on our community.
Together, we’ll honor women’s contributions, empower one another, and work towards a brighter future for all. Let’s make this Women’s Month one to remember!”
